Irish Phosphorus Sustainability Workshop and Conference

Workshop & Conference at the MAC Belfast 21-23 June 2017

The meeting will run over three days, with the workshop on day one followed by the conference on days two and three. Delegates have the option to attend the workshop and conference either in their entirety, or as standalone events.

Brazil-UK Workshop, 6-8 June 2016

A representative from Queen’s University Belfast attended the ‘Managing the Rhizosphere to Alleviate Food Poverty: Mobilising Soil Nutrients’ workshop in Brazil in June 2016.  The purpose of the workshop was to develop a co-operative research framework for Brazil and UK young scientists to come together to forge new understanding and capacity building in rhizosphere science to support sustainable and profitable food production, product innovation and poverty alleviation.

Dr Katrina Macintosh attended and reported on the Global Organic Resources Congress, 3-4th of May 2016, Dublin, Ireland (organised by Cré, the Composting & Anaerobic Digestion Association of Ireland, in partnership with ECN, the European Compost Network) for the European Sustainable Phosphorus Platform.
